Finals Week

Well finals week is getting close and everyone is studying their butts off. As a commuter it really does not have the same effect on me as it does on some of the other students that stay on campus. As for me its the regular work and study and try to get as much sleep as possible. On a sad note my Grandmother passed away last Thursday morning (reason for me not being here Friday), so still trying to cope with that so please keep my family in your prayers.

Hectic Week!!!

Well to start things off I know everyone is getting their websites and portfolios ready. But along with that, the SAP system at work has been out all week so I have not been able to get anything done. Plus this week I am starting physical therapy on my leg so please keep me in your prayers that I am able to survive that. That is all that is basically going on right now besides a presentation on Monday for my distribution class so say a prayer for me on that one too.

NEVER AGAIN!!

This past week has been one of the craziest of my life, I worked a total of 62 hours this week, while working on my website, while also doing stuff for my distribution class, and doing stuff for my photography class. To say this week has been hectic is putting things lightly, all of this while my leg is still healing. I cannot wait until summer to where I can actually find time to relax and not worry about any of this.

Top Golf

This week I had the privilege of going to Houston's newest big attraction, Topgolf. Though yes the rumors are true and it is rather expensive, the service and everything is just great. I played for 3 hours off a gift card with 5 friends and it is the most fun I have had in awhile. I would recommend this place to anyone who is just looking to have a fun time.

Gay Marriage Controversy

This past week all I have been seeing on facebook is all this going on about Gay Marriage laws and how everyone has their own point of view and stuff. My opinion is if it has nothing to do with me I could care less, as long as it does not effect me directly than they can be with whoever and what ever. If a dude wants to marry a cow, let him, that is his life and is not effecting me. I just wish people would use more common sense in what they post and stuff, until next time.

Spring Break is over :(

Coming back to class today reminded me that I actually had things to do such as a bunch of papers and what not. Work as been hectic as usual, but the big news is that I am finally out of my boot and into a split and hopefully soon I will be back to playing again. Lord knows I am ready to be fully recovered and if possible if everyone could keep me in your prayers.

Work Today

Work today was actually pretty fun, we had customers come over and cook hamburgers and hot dogs. All the staff got pied and slimed as well as part of a fundraising event. Mid terms are also this week so I am studying hard to get those down. Until next time

Doing better!

Been awhile since my last blog entry but, this past week I have been to Arkansas and Louisiana and just got back yesterday. It has also been forever since I updated y'all on my leg, to this point it is doing better but doctor still stays off of it for a month (I know I dont listen very well but I cannot stand my crutches). Hopefully within the next 2 months I will be running again, which I am really looking forward to. Nothing else besides homework and work and school have gone on this week, until next time.

Work Work Work

Work as been stressing me out a lot lately, and that is one of the reasons I am not able to post as many blogs as I would like, I work 60 hour weeks and also taking 12 credit hours and it literally is driving me nuts. This week has been hectic with all of the orders combined with all the traveling I had to do last week its all starting to get to me. But when it is all said and done and it seems like I am having a bad day, I can always go to my teammates to cheer me up and that is always going to be my support. Until next time

Not really in the mood for any class today, a lot going on with work especially this last week. I got back from Plano yesterday after observing some rig operations and such. Leg is doing OK, even though my doctor says I need to stay off of it for another complete month, I just really hate using my crutches. So nothing really to interesting going on this week, hopefully soon I will have better stuff for y'all.

Update 2/11

Today I woke up in a lot better mood than I have been in the past month I would say. After getting back on the field yesterday it felt like I had been born again, or as if I had been given new life. People say the smallest things can change a whole person's life around. Even though I still am not even close to being fully healthy it sure felt amazing to be back out there playing with my teammates and hopefully my recovery will still stay on pace.

Update

Things are certainly getting better with my leg, this weekend actually I will be playing softball again for the first time in 2 months (even though I still am not supposed to be walking on it). People always tell me I am crazy and that I need to slow down but try this comparison. Something you absolutely love was taken away from you completely, and there was nothing you could do about it. I have to take my chances even though it could end in injuring myself more. I shall update y'all next week after my games this weekend.

Tough Times

Right now its no question that things are hard right now especially working as much as I am while also taking classes, as well as just recovered from a broken leg. Not being able to play ball right now is what 's really paining me because I have nothing else to do besides work and go to class. In times like these I always go by the saying "God only gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers", and I know soon this all will pass, but for now keep me in your prayers and hopefully things get better.
